The running/walking shoes have been hung up and here at Holbrook & Manter, our team is reflecting on the events that took place in downtown Columbus this past weekend. For the third year in a row, we served as a race sponsor for the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Columbus Marathon. Supporters of the hospital took to the streets for various activities over the weekend, including the full marathon, half marathon, one-mile run, a 5k and a kids run.
Our team prepared for race weekend in many ways, seeking out ways to raise funds and take part in hands-on volunteer opportunities. Some of our team members had a chance to distribute t-shirts and goodie bags to participants at the race expo. It was rewarding to be on-site at the expo taking in all of the excitement ahead of race weekend. We had team members running on race day and we even had a small but mighty member of the H&M family take part in the kids run. Huge shout out to Brooks (son of Jennie Severt from our A&A team.)
Thanks to our on-course sponsorship, employee donations, our live virtual online auction and firm match contributions, Holbrook & Manter contributed over $12,000 to Nationwide Children’s Hospital. We are honored to have played a part in the efforts of the weekend which showcased 15,000 participants and raised $1 million dollars in total.
