Holbrook & Manter has long supported Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio (RMHC). Some of our team members recently visited the Ronald McDonald House on the main campus of Nationwide Children’s Hospital to prepare lunch for the guests staying on-site. We have been doing this for years and the experience is more and more rewarding each time. With the help of RMHC Head Chef Blair Arms, we whipped up a crowd pleasing spread of chicken and waffles, salad, green beans and mac & cheese. We are so grateful to have had the chance to prep and serve another meal at the house.
Immediately after lunch service, our team members went to our Columbus office location to extend our day of giving back. We were the definition of the saying, “many hands make for light work,” as we quickly assembled care package bags to be delivered back to RMHC for the guests to enjoy. We put together toiletry bags as well as activity bags for the younger guests of the house. We love knowing that these bags may brighten the day of a guest looking for some self-care items or something fun to keep them busy.
