The Extended Tax Deadline is Fast Approaching

The month of July is just around the corner, which means the extended tax filing and payment deadline is upon us. You will recall that certain tax deadlines were changed to July 15 back in late March, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Now is truly the time to turn your attention to your taxes so you can remain compliant and in line with these deadlines.

Different states across the country are approaching these deadlines in varied ways. In Ohio, Individuals, estates, trusts, and certain businesses making quarterly estimated income tax payments have been granted additional time to file and pay without penalty or interest.

For those who make quarterly payments, remember,  the first and second quarterly payments that were scheduled for April 15 and June 15 for most taxpayers are now due on July 15. That is two scheduled payments due on that date.
