Senior Accountant – Columbus Office

For over 100 years, Holbrook & Manter has provided accounting, tax and audit services to closely held and family-owned business owners. We are employee-owned and have several locations across the Central Ohio region.

Our highly skilled Business Services and Solutions Team offers a whole host of outsourced accounting and advisory services to business owners of various sizes. As a member of our team, you will work directly with clients to meet their compliance needs and provide advisory services in a proactive manner.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and should be equipped to execute a variety of accounting tasks for multiple clients. Qualifications required:

• Minimum 2-year degree
• Proficient with QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online and/or Sage accounting software
• Ability to analyze financial statements and identify discrepancies
• Able to prepare journal entries and knowledge of general ledger
• Experience with Compilations & financial statement preparation
• Thorough knowledge of GAAP, a plus
• Experience completing work within strict time budgets and deadlines
• Payroll processing and payroll tax reporting and knowledge of Ohio payroll tax laws, a plus
• Microsoft Office experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-starter and independent thinker
